The RA's downstairs have decided they don't want the old man, my homeless attorney, to visit me any more. They've called the police on him for sitting out at the back parking lot benches eating his dumpster sushi. They say it looks bad to have a homeless person hanging around.
Yeah, I feel the irony. Having a homeless 73 year-old man hanging around a homeless veterans' shelter looks bad. As if homeless veterans are somehow superior to homeless attorneys.
I think I finally found that illusive part for my truck in Alabama. I searched parts houses on the internet from the Bronx, New York to Itchycohoochie, Mexico. Finally, finally, finally, my transition back to trucker from biker might be at hand. I'm back to working full time: Sucko Security, Casa De Toro, $8.50 an hour. It'll have to do until I get my truck fixed.
