Homeless Veterans Forced To Share Their Mail With Cooks and Creeps

I called the American Legion headquarters and asked them why I hadn't received my American Legion membership card after 3 months of waiting. The lady looked it up and said that my card letter from them had been sent back as undeliverable.

I went to my homeless veterans shelter residence hall office here and told the snotty woman behind the counter what the American Legion said.

"That's not true, sir, " she sneered, "If you lives here, you gets yo mail."

"But the American Legion mail is not the only mail . . ."

"SIR. IF YOU LIVES HERE, YOU GETS YO MAIL!"

Well, that settles that. I feel so much better now that THAT sorry bitch clarified the problem. The problem is, she sorts the mail when the cook isn't doing it.

This sort of 'service to the veteran' here at the veterans shelter makes me want to sharpen my blades and practice my axe throwing.
