Nalts is a YouTube viral video star with 4,581 YouTube subscribers who huddle around their computer monitors salivating for his next viral video hit. I first "met" Kevin Naulty on Revver.com when he uploaded there for a while to make a few bucks off of his Revverized video romps.
Enamored of Revver's revenue-sharing business model, he created a blog entitled Revverberation: The Unofficial Revver Blog about maximizing one's Revver experience and I was hooked. Revver didn't have a community-building blog at the time or even a Revver forum and Nalts' blog filled the void.
Then he created Cubebreak.com, a place for Revver video creators to exhibit their videos to "bored office workers". A lot of my video stuff made it to that site.
When Nalts expanded his video horizons to include other amateur video hosting sites, he created a blog entitled Willvideoforfood.com which is still a very popular site for the amateur video creator community. As Nalts says it in Willvideoforfood:
"Will Video for Food" is dedicated to helping video junkies make better viral videos, earn a side income on them, and stay current on the rapidly changing landscape of online video sites, tools and software. This is a spinoff blog from www.Revverberation.com. The editor of this blog also maintains www.CubeBreak.com, a video site for bored office workers."
The 'Tiger' Nalts has maintained a growing presence in the web video community for over a year. He has been interviewed in various media including television news stations for his vast knowlege of viral video production, film editing, the growing viral video trend and the video-making community behind that trend. In my opinion, he is positioning himself to become CEO of some giant entertainment or other content providing media company, Viacom or perhaps NewsCorp or dare I write it? Disney! Hide and watch.
The above video by Nalts fan Daanando based on poet William Blake's "The Tiger" from Librivox.org is just the latest homage to the viral video genius Nalts. Enjoy.
