I am approaching the gates of Valhalla armed with passcodes I do not understand: Podcasting, URL Trackback, RSS, CSS, XML, Atom, web crawl and pinging.
To get through the gates, I must learn not only the meaning of these passcodes, but the biology of them as well. It's like trying to speak Tagalog in a Quebec auto parts store to order SDram chips for an analog camcorder. It just doesn't make any sense to me.
It all has to do with feeding. I know that much. I don't know who's feeding what to whom, but there's a frenzy going on and I want to get in on the action.
If you don't manage your own blog and/or don't have a pack of feral videos to feed to the world wide web, you probably don't know what I'm talking about, but that's okay because neither do I, and that is a little frustrating.
Meanwhile, I must continue to figure out ways to feed my Revver videos to the world. The above video is a short (under 2-minute) video tutorial from JPPI on using BitTorrent to distribute Revverized videos.

It actually kind of works, I'd thought about doing that for awhile, but didn't think it would work.
ReplyDeleteBut just after uploading the torrents to a couple of torrent sites I've had a few downloads already.
Cool, 'cause I haven't tried it myself yet. Good to know.
