Solar Powered Crapatosis

Tags: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

My old service-connected solar powered crapatosis came back over the weekend. It was that security assignment as a corporate parking lot scarecrow last week at the Catapiller place that did me in. Whenever I get too much exposure to sunlight, I start to melt . . . like a vampire. No, really. I start to melt. It's that thing I picked up overseas.

So I carried my sorry welted and vampire melted hide down to the VA hospital this morning and the doctor gave me some meds and 24-hour bedrest. My skin should stop bubbling, boiling and smouldering by tomorrow if I lie around the quad all day grinning at all my brethren vets who are "soldiering" their required five daily job contacts.

My employer has agreed to assign me only graveyard shifts from now on.
