CDC Takes Over The Old Hotel Marshall To Find Cause Of Rampant Local Skin Disorder

The federal Center for Disease Control (CDC) has recently taken over the only skyscrapper in the sleepy little east Texas town of Marshall, Texas to conduct a full environmental study trying to locate the cause of a rampant local pellagra-like skin condition known as cutis rhomboidalis nuchae, or "redneckism." The program will study all suspected sources including yellow heels, crackers, hayseeds and trash without pigment.

Dog Tries To Escape From The House Of Daily Horrors In Marshall, Texas

Poor Annie The Dog. Drugged, fed stale table scraps and leftovers from the fridge, forced to urinate and defecate indoors on a reeking gaudy red carpet, chased around the interior of the House of Daily Horrors by ghosts and demons, cohabiting the dark house on Forest Trail in Marshall, Texas with fleas, lice, dust mites, mold and bed bugs. It's a dog's life. The dog tries to run away but can be seen here being restrained by the crack house's caretaker, some toothless old pot bellied, suspenders-wearing east Texas piney woods redneck called Big Bubba No Trubba.

Me and my Longbeach friend Louise at the Marshall historical courthouse, site of the world famous Wonderland of Lights, the day after the Great Marshall Train Wreck at the depot a mile or two straight down the main street we're facing.

Morning The Passing Of Toxic Playground Equipment In Marshall, Texas

This is the train we kids played in and on in the 70's, the old T&P 2-8-0 No. 400 at the city park across the street from the stinky animal slaughterhouse in Marshall, Texas. They cleaned it up removing all the toxic materials recently and moved it to the Marshall Amtrak train depot across town but I sure did love climbing all over this thing before I went swimming at the Lion's Club pool at the top of the hill (where the dead pig smells didn't reach).

Marshall, Texas Gets A Pot To Pee In

As part of Marshall, Texas' downtown revitalization program, a new public toilet was installed on main street. Marshallites, not having any public restrooms since its establishment in 1841, got tired of being referred to as "Marshall, Texas - A Town Without A Pot To Pee In."
