Dragon Lady’s Revenge: The Punishment Call
“Silly wankers,” she complained, “I ‘ate late calls. They’re always so buggered at four in the a.m.”
“What happened?”
“Evil little Jap boogers wouldn’t switch on the lights. Pitch dark in there it was. Evil wogs insisted on walking me through the front room in the dark. Refused to turn a light on. Bumped me shin on a coffee table and they just laughed and laughed like it was some big joke, they did. So I told ‘em to bugger off I did. James, they acted like they planned it, like they wanted to ‘urt me.”
Sounds like a punishment call to me, I thought. Jennifer got mad at the customer complaints and decided to teach Eva a lesson, I guessed. I had seen punishment calls before and this had all the earmarks of Jennifer’s revenge. There was no tip or breakfast that morning.
