Regular Customers Cause Tourette’s Syndrome
“Fucking bitch,” Chloie cursed, “Why do she give me so many zee regular customer? I ‘ate zee fucking regular. . .”
“What’s wrong with zee fucking regular customer?” I mimicked her, “I thought you would prefer seeing someone you already know is, like, safe.”
“Shames,” she scolded me as if I was a child asking why she shouldn’t play with poisonous snakes, “You cannot make zee money from zee fucking regular customers.”
Little did I realize at that time that she literally meant me. Every time Chloie got a regular customer, she got angry and I got monetarily punished.
“Jennifer said the $20 cancellation fee goes to the driver,” I said as I turned onto Santa Monica.
“Oh no. Zat is not true. Besides,“ Chloie lied, “I did not collecting zee cancelling money from zat man. If I get zee cancelling money, I will give you ‘alf,” Chloie said generously.
